Karwarra Australian Plant Garden, Kalorama - Guests meet here from 9:00 am for a 10.00 am departure.

The gardens featured on this day include:

Phillip Johnson, Olinda - Sustainable habitats that help to heal the earth and create spaces to completely unwind. For over 20 years, he's created ways in sustainable landscape design, working to exceed the demands of increasing water restrictions and climatic changes.

The Village Experience - Purchase your lunch at a destination of your choice in the charming township of Olinda - the highest in the Dandenongs. Select from an enticing range of quality eateries, including a pie shop, cafes, fine dining restaurants and traditional pubs, such as
Copperfields, The Olinda Cafe and Dudley’s. Our guides will offer an introduction to the village and let you know which eateries are offering specials to our Secret Gardens guests.

The Ranges Wholesale Nursery, Silvan - Both qualified horticulturalists, Sally and Amanda moved from England 20 years ago. Together they established Ranges Wholesale Nursery in the foothills of the Dandenongs and produce an extensive range of plants that are not otherwise readily available in Australia. With a passion for the old English lines, they are well-known for their Salvias, Dahlias, Crepe Myrtle, Philadephus and Viburnums. Otherwise closed to the public, Sally and Amanda will provide an insight into their propagation methods during the Secret Gardens tour along with a walk through Amanda's private garden.

Heywood House, Seville - From a beautiful view and remnant garden 14 years ago, Virginia Heywood has transformed this landscape to include three acres of garden and two ponds while retaining sweeping views of the Warburton Ranges. The garden is a mixture of natives and exotics, chosen for their beauty and endurance to survive the local rabbit population and summer at the top of a ridge.

Seville Estate, Seville

2019 Halliday Wine Companion Awards Winery of the Year

Award-winning Seville Estate winery boasts one of the most stunning and picturesque views of the Warburton Ranges and Yarra Valley that will take your breath away. Adding to this, Phillip Johnson will reveal his latest garden creation, created to enthral the visitor.
Established in 1991, Seville Estate has been producing wines from one of the most elevated and cooler properties in Seville and the Yarra Valley. The site is also home to the Rich Red Volcanic soil famous in the area.

This tour will finish with tastings at Seville Estate. Guests will then be transferred back to Karwarra to retire to their own accommodation or home. Please note this will be a late finish.
